Lookingfor P\T Job while in Nursing Schl@ NGCSU\Cumming\Alpha This Fall

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

I currently work in the IT field but will be starting Nursing schl in fall 2005. I was wondering where I could find a part time job in a hospital or Medical facility in the Cumming\Roswell\Alpharetta area. Any info on Grants\Scholarships for Georgia will be appreciated.

For NGCSU students, What is the weekly schedule of classes usually like. What are the hours, days etc.

Thanks in Advance

Reidme.

For your first semester, you will go to school from 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. (Nutrition), and 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon (Fundamentals), and have lab on Wednesday or Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. About six or seven weeks into the semester you will begin going to the hospital for clinicals on your lab day from 6:00 a.m. until about 2:00 p.m. Second semester, class time is a little shorter because you don't have nutrition, but everything else stays the same. They will strongly encourage you not to work, and I would really recommend that unless you have to. If you do have to work, make it as part time as possible because it is a lot of work and requires a lot of time!! If I hear anything more definite about the location, I will let you know!! :)

Lisa:

Since you are at the Gainesville Campus - you will either go to Northeast Georgia Medical Center or Lanier Park - both in Gainesville.
