Looking for work in hospital >:(

I have 2 years exp. in "LTC" and can NOT even get a call back from a hospital. I live in Michigan, and it appears that they count long term care as NO experience ... SO up setting, I love my job and my pts, but I want more. At my center, we do Trachs, tube feedings, pcp pumps, I start IV's everyday, and do admits and discharges with 20 plus pts everyday.... So really why can I not find anything???

I asked a recruiter for one of the big hospital chains here how they view LTC experience, and she said they look at it very positively. While it's not acute care, they understand that you get a lot of experience with med administration, time management, working with clients and families, case management, and so on.
