Looking to Shadow a RN with BSN in South FL

Hello,

I am currently enrolled in the RN - BSN program at Western Governors University (WGU).  I have 3 classes left to complete my BSN. I am trying to find a RN with a BSN (WGU requirement) that will allow me to shadow for 35 hours. I am in the South Florida area. I have called so many places and so far I haven't been successful. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Personally I cannot help as I live in Illinois. But do you have a chapter of "sigma theta tau " in your area? You can find this out from a local BSN program or their website. Find out when the next local meeting is. Ask to be on the agenda to seek a member for help. 

What type of places have you contacted?

Thanks for your suggestion. The school has provided a list of acceptable sites including home health, rehabilitation centers, adult day cares and public health clinics. I have visited and called close to 50 places with no success yet.

If you are limited to sites the school accepts....you need to talk to them. 

BTW what school did you graduate from?
