Looking for Part Time, Evening or Weekend LPN schools in GA

Updated:   Published

It looks like I will have to work full time day while trying to pursue my LPN education. I have not started anything yet but I would like recommendations for schools in the Atlanta metro area that offer either an LPN program or RN program either in the evenings or on the weekends. If there are none in the whole state of Georgia, then I can make up to a 2 hour commute if there's evening/weekend programs in the surrounding states to GA such as Alabama or Tennessee. Thx

I heard there's a school in Gainesville that has a part-time LPN program where you take your classes at nite and on weekends. I'm sorry but i don't remember the name. Maybe try googling "gainesville lpn program" and research whatever pops up.

Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, has a 1 day a week course. On Maonday the hours are 8am to 11pm.

Lanier Tech. They have a fantastic program!! The instructors are incredible.

For Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Ga the majority of the Schedual is just 1 day a week + clinicals for an ADN in 2 years.

Lanier Tech in Oakwood (Gainesville) offers a part-time program, but they only accept into the nursing program every other year- Summer quarter. The next available is Summer 2011.

Darton College in Albany, GA has a part-time ADN and an online ADN program.
