Looking into nursing but don't know how to go about it...??

Hello all,

I'm a student at CSUSM (Cal State San Marcos). For the past year or so I've been thinking about getting into the nursing career. I'm currently getting my teaching credential and was thinking of pursuing nursing after. The problem is, I've looked around for schools where I can get my nursing degree and the web takes me all over the place. I need some advice/help leading me in the right direction. There's also debating what KIND of nurse to be...any recommendations?

If you can't find information on their websites I would call an admissions counselor. Every school is different and have different offerings and requirements. Good luck and imo there isn't any real need to pick a speciality until you have gotten some clinical experiences to help you decide.
