Hi Everyone,
I'm developing a Powerpoint presentation related to Nursing Retention.
Anyways, for some fun - I need to throw in some humor to keep the business people interested in what I am talking about.
I have been to nursetoons and google images and have a couple - but still looking for more funny illustrations / cartoons / comics related to:
Nursing shortage
Managed Care
Low staffing
Low nursing morale
Unlicensed assistive personel
Do any of you have any funny pics you wouldn't mind sharing?
Thanks,
Ginger

You'll probably have to get permission (copyright issues?), but there are lots of funny comics at www.nurstoon.com.
Good luck!

Don't have any images for you yet, but ran across this gem in the search:
Download the FREE St. Luke's hospital case study Are you interested in improving your customer ratings? You probably already know that improving employee satisfaction is directly related to improved customer satisfaction. Read how St. Luke’s hospital and CPP joined forces to accomplish this goal. St. Luke’s hospital, founded in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1872, monitored its patient satisfaction ratings, and chose to target several areas for improvement. During its investigation phase in 2002, the St. Luke’s leadership committee noted that Florida’s Memorial Baptist Church, which had the highest Press Ganey (a customer satisfaction survey used by hospitals) ratings at the time, used the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) for team building. The St. Luke’s committee contacted CPP Professional Services, who implemented a leadership forum for over 200 managers which included a type flexing exercise to introduce the MBTI. Over the last four years, St. Luke’s has used the MBTI, and has seen a lot of changes. For one, there is greater employee satisfaction. The hospital was named one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Customer satisfaction (Press Ganey) scores, particularly in the critically important Emergency Department have also risen, showing that the patients in the community are more satisfied with the care provided.
