I attended a non-accredited LPN program and was able to complete my ASN degree, earn RN licensure, and later complete a BSN program.
Contrary to popular beliefs, accreditation is not as big of a deal for LPN programs as it is for RN programs. For instance, California is home to 200+ LPN/LVN programs and not a single one is accredited.
Good luck to you.

I am looking into several LPN school options.. most are not accredited.. some are. As far as going from LPN to RN (bridging) afterwards; will LPN accreditation make a difference? I know it does going from ADRN to BSN.. I don't know if it's helpful to know at all, I also already have a Bachelor of Arts. It makes the most sense for my family to do the LPN, get a job and bridge to RN while working. Any advice or help you can give would be amazing! The non-accredited LPN schools are much cheaper but I don't know what the difference will be when trying to get into an RN program. Thank you!!!!
