looking for more info on Excelsior

Hey everyone!

I'm a new LPN, I graduated in April and I am working FT in a SNF and starting a Per Diem position at a local hospital. I am really thinking about jumping into my RN but I am SWAMPED! I have 2 kids and the lovely hubby who themselves got burnt out while I was going to school, working and trying to maintain some sort of sanity at home. So I was thinking that possibly the best way to do this was online. Cut down travel and time away from home when I am here. They are all pretty good at Mom's study time and all. However I am concerned about the experience and having other students around for study support and the staff support as well. So if you could just share your thoughts on this I would extremely appreciate it! Thanks :)

There is a ton of online support. It's a very personal decision as to whether this is the right path; good luck, whatever you decide!
