Looking for the HESI exam. PLEASE HELP!!

Hello,

I am applying for a nursing program in Texas but am pregnant and in Indiana right now!! I don't really want to travel 1500 miles at 36+ weeks to take an entrance exam so I'd really like to find somewhere it's offered closer to home!

If anyone has ever taken the HESI for their school or knows any school that offers it in the Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Wisconsin area PLEASE let me know! I've called almost 60 schools and haven't had any luck yet.

I would call the school your hoping to attend for nursing and see if they can send it to a school near you and they can proctor it for you. Good Luck.

Where in Texas will you be going? I moved from Dallas to Indiana last summer. Each of the schools I applied to in the DFW area required you to take the HESI at their school. So, if you were applying to 3 schools, then you had to take it 3 different times at each of those schools, even if they were in the same county. That's probably not the answer you were hoping for, but I would definitely contact the school you are planning to apply to and see what their rules on the HESI are.
