Hello all...I have achieved my RN status (wa-hoo!) and would like to find/take a critical care/ACLS/PALS course. I am getting ready to have a baby soon (first one) and will be going flex time in about 3 weeks. My hospital at this time, doesn't pay for flex time employees to take the course offered through them. I don't care the cost of this course(s). I live in Harrisburg, PA. I will even take it online if need be.

Thanks for any and all help!!

Sorry, I just saw your post - Lancaster General runs ACLS and PALS courses almost monthly. You can access the course schedule via their Web site or can call their education dept. Hope this helps!

No prob there Softball...I had actually signed up for one online. It is accredited through AHA, and all the material actually comes from them. http://www.ACLS.com I believe is the site. A little pricey, but my husband said if it furthers my career by having these skills/credentials, then what does it matter the cost?

I will have to be tested off clinically by an instructor/educator in ACLS/PALS, so I may use LGH.

Again, thanks for the heads up info!!
