Looking for extra income; on line presentations

Hi

I've been a nurse for 8 years with a background in cardiac nursing/long term care. I currently hold an ADON position in a local facility. I am a single mom with 2 children and cannot travel (very often) for extra income. I have my BSN and am currently enrolled in TCU's On-line Clinical Nurse Specialist program. I love to teach and have applied at a local community college to teach pharmacology and hopefully a course within the RN/LVN program. So I am looking into generating extra income by becoming a local presenter for CE seminars and posting an on-line class/seminar for CEU's. Any suggestions on how to get started? Or any other ideas?

I'm really looking forward to searching this site!! I already feel right at home!

Thanks for your response. Yes, I'm looking for some supplemental income to add to my day job. I am interested in placing seminars on-line with video presentations. I "attended" a MDS seminar on-line earlier this year. I plan to do some live presentations locally and would like to video tape it and place it on-line. Do you have any idea how to get started?

I do not know about online businesses. Mine is a medical legal consulting agency. Now, I can tell you all about the ins and outs of taxes with the city, county, state, federal. Getting an assumed name in order to get a business bank account. Business cards, letterhead, how to petition the state for your business name, and, on and, on and, on.......
