Looking into CT and NY schools. Can anyone weigh in on application stats?

Hi everyone! I'm a prospective career-changer hoping to switch from finance to nursing with an ABSN program. I'm currently looking at programs in NY (Utica, NYU, Pace, Stony Brook) and CT (Fairfield, Quinnipiac, USJ). I am taking a year to continue working in finance while taking prerequisites/volunteering in the hospital. It seems like everyone on these threads has both awesome prereq grades and years of medical experience. Does anyone have experience with any of the programs I mentioned and can weigh in if it will hurt me that I only have volunteer experience? I have a 3.7 undergrad GPA and am trying my hardest to get strong grades in prerequisites in the hopes that this will make me a stronger applicant. Thanks in advance 🙂
