hello! i have an assignment to do in health assessment. i need a little help with creativity if you are willing.
included in my assignment, i will be doing a patient teaching session for a ua collection. at the end, i would like to give the students survial kits for nursing school. i plan on using a ua collector as the container. we are all so stressed at this midterm point and thought it would be a little something to help us.
my project is on gordons functional pattern of elimination, so i'd like to tie it to this if possible.
examples i had in mind, and would like help from you in adding to it were things like:
hard piece of candy: for the peace we all are looking for.
tissue (tears are elimination) for the many tears we shed.
bandaid (blood is elimination) for all our boo-boos weve acquired
paper clip to keep ourselves together
and the other idea i had so far was something on the lines of using the container to vent all of your problems into and leaving the bottled up here.
what do you think?? ...sound ok? or is it a corny idea? :uhoh21:
helppppppppppp me!!! lol...i just thought this would be a cute little tension breaker at the end of my assessment "project" on elimination. our case study is on "jane" who is being seen for a possible uti, if this helps!
thanks,
everyone!!

Those sound great! Those Survival Kits are great ideas, everyone could use something like that right about now! I bumped up a thread that discussed a lot of great ideas about what all you can include in kits.
