Looking for a CA job early next year

I am originally from CA and moved out of state because I couldn't find an acute care job in CA. I am currently working in an ER and will have 1 year experience in March. I am looking to move back to the Bay Area next year (am thinking of applying in Jan/Feb). What are my chances of finding a job? I am willing to apply to non-ER jobs too. I am even thinking of applying to outpatient surgery jobs. Where should I apply? I am hoping that by next year jobs opportunities might be better, what do you all think?
