Hi everyone...I'm am a junior nursing student at East Stroudsburg University in PA. I'm planning on moving down to NC after graduation and would love to move close to the beach. My sister and brother-in-law are moving down to Fort Bragg and I would also love to be a short distance from them also. If anyone has some information for me about good hospitals and places to live in that particular area it would be very helpful. Thanks!
P.S. I'm interested in inexpensive apartments and good pay :chuckle

:) Hi, I am Dianne and I live approxiamtely 25 miles from Fort Bragg. I live in Lee County, I don't know if you have ever hear of it. There is a wonderful hospital in Fayetteville named Cape Fear Valley. It's a rather large hospital. My sister is soon to graduate with her RN and she has done a lot of clinicals there. She also applied for a job at Cape Fear Valley but Moore Regional Hospital contacted her first and she accepted the job. I live in Carolina Trace its a very nice community with security and a gate house. There are homes to purchase and rent here also apartments available. You can check out Carolina Trace at Carolinatrace.com. Good luck and if I can be of further help please let me know. Dianne

I had to move a couple of times and i would go to the area i like on a late evening friday and saturday and my husband and I would drive around apt, store and go to public areas and watch what people were doing and behaving. Its a great way to see yourself in the area and if the area and people and activity fits you. Now we live in the most place with the best nieghbors. I do want to ask how did you get into ESU nursing program and how are you doing?
thank you
