Looking for advice from CRNA's with Neonatal ICU backround!

Published

If you are a CRNA with a backround in Neonatal Intensive Care- I would greatly appreciate hearing your advice on how prepared you felt once you got into a NA program...Did you find yourself wishing you had concentrated more on adults, did you feel ill-prepared? Would you have done anything differently looking back? I am getting advice about half and half going both ways from speaking with program directors- some are fine with a NICU backround, others will only take RECENT adult ICU experience. I would love to hear a first hand account from current CRNA's or Student CRNA's- thanks!!!

I am in school with a Pedi Np/NICU nurse. I'll ask her for you.
