It already feels like forever LOL

I saw a post on Reddit that some received an invitation to take the TEAS exam within 2 weeks of submitting the application.

So eager to know! LOL

I saw that too, my heart dropped LOL, cause I haven't received anything!

Hello all!!

First semester RN student here! I wanted to msg you all to wish you good luck. If anyone is wondering how everything works feel free to ask.

Spring 2025 cohort heard back from Marc almost end of August ( we applied early August - first week I believe). The first email you get will get you in to the 300, & 36 out of 300 will be chosen. Here they look at science GPA & then overall GPA. We heard back end of September with our "conditional acceptance", took the TEAS and if passed your still under conditional acceptance UNTIL all paper work is submitted to castle branch. This is where all immunizations and booster are submitted & background checks, etc. once all that is cleared you are officially accepted.

I would highly recommend to get a head start (if conditionally accepted) on taking a titers test to see your immunization levels and start getting your boosters & TB test as you need a 2 step TB. Good luck again to all!! Hope to see you next semester 🙂

Good morning thank you so much for the information it's truly appreciated(: ! How soon after did you have take TEAS test?

They give you about a month after your "acceptance" to take the test, they'll schedule it & let you know the date, so make sure you're actively checking your emails.

How is the schedule there? How do you like it so far?

Well that depends. You get separated into sections (1&2) for lab & clinicals. Section 1 my schedule, I'm there 8 to 1 on Monday, 8 to 6 Tuesday, off Wednesday, clinicals on Thursday (6 am- 2 pm), & off Friday. But that was first 8 weeks. These next 8 weeks is basically the same except now I have an added class on Wednesday from 2:30-4. I'm not too sure what hours section 2 looks like I know they stay for lab on Monday after we leave at 1, not sure what time they're off. They have Tuesday & Thursday off... I know they go in at 8 on Wednesday but not sure what time they're off for the day, I'm thinking 2 because we have that 2:30 class together on Wednesdays.
I like the program.. BUT, it is super busy work, lots of info, tons of reading, test every week the first 8 weeks. It is stressful, it's intense, and there's a lot to remember. It can get overwhelming because we're so new to this but we're expected to know what we're doing.. I personally had to stop working because I couldn't keep up, but I know others who are still working and doing "OK".

Hello, has anyone received anything?

I hate waiting, it's killing me!

Noo 😣
