2014 Lonestar Montgomery fall ADN hopefuls

Hello,

I thought it would be a great idea to start a thread for each individual campus, so that we will be up to date on notifications and other nursing program questions and answers. I hope this helps!

I am currently awaiting notification from Montgomery, with a 10.78 score.

I would have scored higher, but I took the hesi on the last day we were allowed before the application deadline...sick...so I just clicked away and didn't give it my best effort. But, I am hopeful that I will get in. If not, I plan to apply for kingwood in july. (which is my first choice)...but in order to get in faster, I applied with Montgomery. I am ready to get in the program and get out! So this waiting for notifications is killing me! The website said we will get notifications in march, but the campus said 2 more weeks at least!

I just got off the phone with Montgomery, there was a systems error at the main office with the application list that they sent in, so they are working on correcting the error, and then when Montgomery gets the list back, they will go through the applications and make the adjustments they need, and will send notifications, so she said 2-3 more weeks before we know anything.

Well if y'all didn't get into Montgomery I definitely did not (10.5). North Harris is my only shot I believe. Has anyone contacted NH? I tried calling....no answer. I emailed them yesterday and no response yet.

I hope y'all both get in! Keep the faith!! I'm sure people will drop once they find out if they get into a BSN program.

I am just confused...how am I already a alternate, when Montgomery is still waiting for the main office to reply on the applications they sent in. I am wondering...if once Montgomery hears back from the main office, if I still can be accepted or still just a alternate. I am so upset, because I see others getting accepted to other schools with lower scores.

They probably have a list of some sort. If you have an alternate email they can't take it from you. Once they get it straightened out they might call you. Hang in there! Montgomery is the hardest one to get into. Did you apply to any other campuses?
