Did everyone who got the alternate email accept? And get told they have to go to the mandatory orientation in may? I know someone who was an alternate last year and wasn't told about the orientation and another was an alternate and did get told about the orientation.... the one who was told about the orientation ended up getting in. I'm just wondering if every alternate is going to the orientation?

i am going to orientation, I was told it's mandatory

For all alternates no matter what program, you are supposed to attend the orientation. You have to do everything every regularly accepted student would do just in case you get in. I know an alternate who did everything and someone ended up dropping out a day before classes started. The alternate didn't begin classes until the 2nd week of the program. It can happen you never know.

So I am an alternate and my letter says orientation is May 17th at NH.. does anyone know if that's just orientation for alternates or for everyone?? Also does anyone know what dates orientation are for cyfair and tomball?

Thank you! I am trying to purchase a ticket to travel home for orientation as I won't be in Texas until mid June. Do you know the orientation date for NH for those already accepted?
