Hey I was wondering if anyone else has started a post on Fall 2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls... & If not then let's get this one going!

Its a GREAT thing!!!!!!

@krisk84 yes I've taken the hesi 4xs already improving each time. And each time I've applied to cyfair and tomball and got accepted as an alternate.

(2015) 83.20% on hesi 3 points for a&p + eng. (Had b in English and anat.) (This was b4 they had critical thinking and b4 I took a&p 2) ==6.328 (applied, alternate)

(2016) 86% on hesi 3 points for a&p + eng. Critical thinking 780 = 6.44

(2016) 90% on hesi 3 points for a&p + eng. Critical thinking 850 = 6.6 (applied, alternate)

(2016)..kept same hesi score, decided to retake English in summer. made an A =7.0 (applied, alternate)

(2017) 93.20% on hesi 3.4286 pts for a&p + eng. Critical thinking 890 = 7.1566

wow that's tough!! Did you apply to all 4 campuses ??

I know last application period was hard because only two locations were accepting applications.

you should be proud for sticking with it and improving every time!! Really hope you get in!

You're going to have to get that A&P to an A. I went to a nursing session & she said you need all 4 points at the top, or you're most likely not getting in/alternate. But with your bottom score soo high you should be good. Man that B !!

If I don't get in this time I plan on taking A&P over the summer to get my A. how can I figure out what my score would be with an a in anatomy and an a in English with an 88.4 on my entrance exam ?

What is your top score? So you'll keep the bottom score and just add 4. Your Hesi scores are almost the same as mine & I have a 7.5

@mrs.guillory yes I'm applying at cyfair and tomball for fall since those r the closest schools to me. If i don't make it this time I'm applying to pv Univ.

Ok I would have a 7.536

@krisk84 if you make an A in anatomy and English, you get the full 4pts. Divide your hesi by 25 and add the 4pts.

7.536 would be my score, hopefully I don't have to take AnP again, but I will if I have to! í ½í¸•
