Hi all, I just wanted to start this so we can keep each other updated on applications, interviews, etc! I applied to L&D/PP.

Hello everybody! Happy Thursday!
I have my interview scheduled for their OR unit 2 weeks from now. Does anyone have any insight how the interview will go (ie. questions, panel, etc.) I have never had a job before, so I do lack experience in interviewing. If you have heard anything from friends/family who were in previous cohorts, please leave any tips because anything helps. I wish us all the best and I will provide input as well as to how it goes.

I agree!! We need all the tips. I am interviewing next week for the ER.

Congrats! Good luck! 🙂

Hello, my interview was on Tuesday for PICU, it was via zoom, a panel interview. Unit managers, charge nurse and bedside staff was present, as well as 4 more interview. They asked us 4 questions, 1) why this unit and why do you want to work at LLCH, 2)How do you feel about working NOC shift 3) give us a time where you had to de escalate a situation between a patient/family member or provider, 4) what diagnosis intrigues you the most. Each person answers once by one.
it was nerve wrecking 😬. Waiting for a call to know if I will get a second interview or not.

Congrats!!! I'm so nervous!! Is there two interviews or just depends on the unit?

I believe there is 2 interviews but I'm not sure if every department works like this.

How did you prepare for the interview?

I honestly didn't prepare, but I've been an LVN for 10 years so have had interviews before. I do try to practice out loud my answers or at least the first question they always has "tell me about yourself" and why do you want to work for this unit and this hospital.

Thank you so much! They didn't tell me it's a panel interview but on the email it has multiple people who work there and also don't know if there will be other interviewees

Congrats on your interview! Crossing my fingers for you and hoping for the best 🙂 Thanks for your feedback, it's really appreciated! It's interesting you got to interview through zoom rather than in person. Those questions don't seem too bad. Question #4 is interesting, never heard that one from other people before.

Hi did anyone have their interview for NICU?

Anyone interview for the ED? If so what are the questions they ask ;(

Hi friends! Has anyone interviewed for the OR yet?
