Hi all. Wanted to start a thread for those that will be applying for the BSN program at Loma Linda University for Spring 2021.

Partly. If someone drops from Spring, one of the waitlisted gets called. If we aren’t called, we can be considered for fall and take steps to strengthen our application, but we aren’t guaranteed a spot in fall.

I see. Just curious, what were your stats like? And, did you have any prior nursing experience? Did you do the optional values essay? No need to answer if you're not comfortable.
I didn't prepare for the TEAS, which I should have, But I certainly tried my best. If I don't get in, I will certainly study for the TEAS next time. I believe my application and essays were solid.
My stats aren't spectacular:
3.5gpa, 72 on TEAS, and 15 on critical thinking.

Thank you for your response! This is helpful. Did they explain the factors involved in deciding who gets on what list? When they call me, I'm definitely going to ask!
They did not just that there are minimums. However I had c’s in all science classes which is likely why I was waitlisted plus AP2 was still in progress, scored highish on TEAS- like 85, 21 on critical thinking and overall GPA was like 3.8. They wouldn’t tell me my waitlist position either

Your stats are fantastic! That makes a lot of sense why they held off. I'm currently in AP right now. With an 87%. Can hit a 90% and im aiming for an A. It would definitely help because I got a C on the first AP course.
