I got referred to a unit, but no email yet.

if you go to the adult RN residency site, I believe there is a file with the descriptions for each unit

I just got the interview phase for oncology/transplant but no email yet 🙂

Anybody's status changed or heard back from the Murrieta campus?

I got moved to interview phase for ECH 1300 ( Medical progressive Care) based on the description I think it's med-surge. Anyone with me ?

Do you guys know what are some good questions to ask towards the end of an interview? I feel like I never really know what to ask 😅 plz and thank you!

Thanks for the heads up! Just checked and mine changed to the interview phase with the unit as well!   I didn't get an interview email yet though.

Does anyone know about how many people per unit they are taking? or what the interview format is?  panel or one/one ?  was it virtual or in person?

It depends on the unit sometimes they only hire 2-3 or sometimes up to 6. It depends on their need and budget. The interview format also depends on the unit, some units it's one to one other units it can be you plus two unit managers. I heard the children's hospital was a true panel interview where it was the unit managers and 5-6 interviewees. For adults residency it is for sure an in-person interview.

Yes if you go back to the Loma Linda email when you first applied, on the email there is a link to the self candidate page where it takes you to log into your account that you used to submit your application and in that portal, it tells you if you're still under consideration or if it moved from to the interview phase or if you have been rejected. each unit is different and makes those changes at their own pace so we still have about 3 to 2 weeks until the deadline so it really is up to each unit.

I got switch to the interview phase but no interview email yet. Good luck everyone! I know we all need a job, and I speak for myself when I say this I'm on my last wits and hope. I just need this one good thing from all the bad stuff that's occurred in my life lately.

Mines also moved to the observation unit (I chose this unit). It's like a short-stay unit where pts aren't ICU level but need more monitoring than regular medsurg.
