Loma Linda New Grad October 2022 cohort

Published

Hello,

I wanted to start a thread for those that have applied to Loma Linda for new grad RN residency. I've applied to the Loma Linda Murrieta one for an OR position. I've heard from the recruiter that they start contacting people this coming four weeks for an in-person interview. I already did the screening video interview. Waiting for a call-back/e-mail to have an in-person interview. Also, does anyone know how many people they're hiring for the OR position at the Murrieta location for the October 2022 cohort?

I'd like to hear your feedback on it and maybe share some in sights about your position as well! Hopefully, we all get the position we want! :)

Thank you!

@Futurenurse_2 I had my interview last week Wednesday and I got a call this Friday from the nurse manager of the surgical unit and she offered me the position. I was also told that they would be sending out the official offers starting Monday. Good luck to everyone!

How do you guys feel about the 3 year commitment at Loma Linda?

I mean I was told 1 year contract 2 years after that is expected which means it’s technically a 1 year contract at the end of the day.

@NurseRos3 I also interviewed for the Surgical/Trauma unit and got offered the position.

@Nursesuzzy How exciting! Will you be accepting?

Best of luck to our new professions! I did not get interviewed but I did get an offer from another hospital as an operating room nurse. ?

@edev09 Thank you! And congrats! ?

Hi guys! I just recieved the E-mail job offer! I was offered night shift and I was wondering if you guys know anything about the differentials?

@NurseRos3 yes I’ll be accepting the offer. I also got offered Noc shift. It’s a $4 differential.

@Nursesuzzy Do you know if the differential is supposed to be stated in the employment offer agreement or if it is assumed?

Do you know what is the starting rate for new grads at LLUMH?

I got into Kaiser new grad program, so didn’t go with Loma Linda. Starting rate is about $37.
