The interview was about 30 min. They started off by telling me about the program and what's expected. Then asked a few questions including what's the most important value for me that Loma Linda has and why? Why the OR?
What's the most important role for the nurse in the OR?
I felt the interview went well, although I was extremely nervous.

I appreciate that! I get really nervous with interviews too but I'm sure you did well and hopefully get the position! Did they mention by chance how many people they will be hiring on the unit?

I didn't ask, but only the medical center and surgical hospital are hiring for new grads, East is not. He mentioned he had about 15 more interviews to go and he would make his decision by 3/21.

Ahh I see. Wow that's a lot. So it's just this virtual interview? No in person one

OMG the wait is nerve wrecking 😂 I have not heard anything. I keep checking my email every five minutes! They didn't tell me how many positions their hiring for. Did you interview for oncology or transplant?
Has anyone interviewed or gotten interview dates for Neuro Progressive? When I emailed the recruiter she said that the hiring managers have until 3/21 to have interviews. I haven't received a call yet, and am starting to get a little nervous. I was hoping they would reach out this week to get me a date for interview next week.

Good to know! I will stay hopeful for ICU, though I believe there was only one opening. Good luck with Medsurg! I hope that you get the call with an offer 🙂
