I applied for the Spring 2015. I'm IMPATIENTLY waiting to see if I get accepted. Today is the deadline (finally)! So, I'm hoping to hear something within the next 2 weeks. Even though the email they sent out said it could take up to a month but I really hope it doesn't take that long.

As far as the GPA, last semester the lowest GPA that was accepted was 3.1. Have you taken all of the prerequisites as well?

Yes but ima taking my last few right now... and that just makes me sooo nervous! And the advisor told me we should know within the next 3 weeks! And it sucks because by January ill have above a 3.0! I really want this!

Hmmm...I thought the pre-reqs had to be completed before the deadline. I could be wrong though. 3 weeks is still long lol. I'm going to check my online status every couple of days. I remember reading somebody getting a 3.0 and not getting accepted so they went ahead and applied to Baptist I believe. I'm praying for both of us.

Well I wont get my hopes too far up! I was also applying to UTHSC and memphis! But ill have to wait until next fall to attend. If I don't get accepted this time around, im almost positive I will next August. But thats way too long! I applied to baptist too but they wanted all my pre reqs done before applying

I always heard bad things about the clinical days for Baptist that's why I didn't want to apply with them. But I kept them on my "just incase" list. Now that UTHSC has brought back their BSN program I was really considering them too incase I don't get in a LSON. I don't want to sit out of school any longer.

Yea well....if I domt get into LSON then ik ill have a solid shot next fall....hope this is all worth it.

Well I am applying for LSON FNP program Spring 2015!!! Super excited!!! I called the school today and they stated they are still working on BSN acceptance... They also said that the FNP applicants will not be notified until the beginning of Nov

@ stwllms1 - Omg....2proudmom called last Friday and they told her they were mailing out decisions Monday. And they are telling you something different. smh.

Good luck to you! Can't believe you have to wait until Nov. I'll be praying for you. I thought they did MSN first based on some other threads. There were a few people who app'd for FNP and were accepted as early as Oct 9th (they said their online status changed around that time) but it was weeks later when they got their official letter in the mail.
