I understand that Locum Tenems can make around $220,000 a year.
What is the catch here?
Do they have to pay their own insurance? If so, how much is insurance?
Anyone have any details about Locum Tenem CRNAs?

You travel around to various facilities, usually for a few weeks at a time, filling in for someone's vacation, etc. Yes, you pay your own insurance and most are incorporated. Insurance for a CRNA can average about $10,000 per year, but also remember that you need Liability Insurance for your "agnecy" also............................
Depends on which part of the country that you will be working. Just like the ER docs that do the same thing. Many times in smaller hospitals, that can't get by with being down one in numbers for a few weeks.
Hope that this helps..................
