Please post any necessary information re: local job opportunities for us Filipino nurses esp. here in Metro Manila.
hi. may I ask if anyone here knows about bosh training? does it assure that if I get that training even I do not have any hospital or clinical experience... will guarantee that I can be hired as well as a company nurse? Im really eager to go back to nursing profession but opportunities seems to be limited. I am really hoping if i'l get bosh training I can have a chance to practice as a compant nurse since I its been a long time. I am graduate of batch 2007. I hope to hear pleasant and warm feedbacks from you guys. thank you.
Hi! Just want to share my MCT experience. Hope this helps:
Passed my resume last January via email ([email protected], you might want to check their fb page for updates). Got a text from the HR for the exam on early February. Place is not hard to find if you're from Makati/Taguig area, but since I'm from Marikina, I had to take a cab. It's still a construction site but don't hesitate to ask and they will guide you to the office. I took the exam together with 25+ nurses.
Exam is about 80 items, I think? Multiple choice, identification, enumeration, computation, and essay type. The HR will advise you what to bring naman for the exam. They oriented us first with the hospitel, timeframe of the construction, and hiring procedure. Then 1hr exam. They will advise you after to keep your lines open for they will contact you if you pass or fail. And they insisted that even if you fail, you'll know.
And thennn, end of Feb I received a text that I passed the exam and that I was scheduled for an interview. Im not sure yet if I'll grab this opp or not, so I didnt confirm. They texted me 3 times already (early Mar and Apr) and still no confirmation from me. Honestly, I like to work there, I believe it will be operational mid of 2014. Im still contemplating guys. Hoping, they'll text me again.
delabajanmaryjune - AFAIK company nurses/project nurses have more vacancies than clinical positions :)) I've read openings in jobstreet/jobsdb requiring the bosh training even w/o experience.. :)) good luck

Exactly. :) Thanks!
People around me say its not practical because its too far. And that there are new hospitals around Marikina. So, let's see. 3 months, and I'm still searching. Hayyyyy, buhay nurse. Hehehe. :)
