Has anyone else applied to Regis/LMH for Fall 2012? Curious to find out if anyone has been accepted yet.

Also Does anyone have any pointers, or recommendations in regards to applying to LMH?

Thanks!

Yeah I was waitlisted for the fall, they said the class was full :( I got accepted to MGH so I think I'm going there.

I was accepted for the Fall. I applied a week before Christmas though.Ally-what program was full for the fall? Is that what your letter said?

I applied for the bsn/msn program for fall 2012, but I didn't apply until February (interviewed about 2 weeks ago). Yeah, the letter I received about the waitlist said the class was full.

I'm sorry, I just realized this is probably not the program I applied to! I applied to the Accelerated BSN/msn portion at Regis, not the lmh/regis program so sorry guys!

Ally I'm sorry they were full. Congrats on acceptance to MGH though.. How is the reputation of their BSN/Masters program?

@EG24

I just got my acceptance for the fall at LM.

Congrats Kimball! The reputation in the New England area seems to be pretty good, I'm pretty excited about going there. I was waitlisted at Northeastern, so I'm assuming I'm going to MGH!

@Ally

I'm sure MGH is going to be wonderful. Are you currently an RN continuing on with advance degree or is that program an initial program to your RN? I'm very excited. It is going to be a lot of work. I commute 50 miles one way to work and work a full 40hrs a week. One thing about the location of LM associates program is it is right in Medford so it is an easy commute for me after work from Boston.

@Kimball, I'm not an RN, I have a bachelor's in Biology and a Masters in Public Health. So I'm going into the direct entry program. That's good about the commute, I'll be commuting from the Fenway over to Charlestown to MGH so it's not far but with traffic it's never easy! I'm definitely excited to and ready for the work :) Are you able to work while in school? I also work 40 hrs now but will probably have to quit as the program is full time.

@Ally Yes my program is nights and weekends so I will be working during the day and go to school in the evenings. Clinicals will be Friday night and all day Sat & Sunday every other weekend. When does your program start?

Wow that's going to be a lot of work! We start the beginning of September.

Yes I know it is going to be a lot of work. I'm already planning my summer weekends so I can get in some family time before the craziness begins. I just paid my deposit today and my program will start the end of August.
