Hi all! I would like to hear from current students or grads of this program. I have completed all my non-nursing courses so that if I'm accepted, I will only need to do is my nursing classes and clinicals. Is it possible to work full time if nursing & clinicals are the only courses you're taking per term? Thanks very much,

Hi- I'm graduating from the Evening/Weekend program this December and have worked full time (40+ hours/week) during the entire program. It was not as easy as I thought it would be, but it CAN be done.

I have heard that people do work full time during the program, all though I don't know how. I would not. going to school 4 days a week and a twelve hour clinical. I work twelve hour shifts over the week ends.

I am graduating from the evening/weekend division in May of next year, and I worked 40+ hours the entire program. My job is very flexible and allows me to leave early on Friday clinical days and nights when class is a bit early. Most weeks, there are only 2 days of classes and clinical every other weekend (8-12 hours on Sat/Sun and 4 hours on Friday nights in most courses). Honestly, I think it's taught me to be disciplined. I don't have time to slack off and procrastinate like I did when I was younger (this is my second degree). There were times when I had to take a Monday after clinical off to finish paperwork or get in some sleep, but that was more in NU 101 when I was still getting the hang of things.

I think I"m in the minority though. Most of my classmates have stopped working as the program progressed.
