LIU Brooklyn Spring 2019 Nursing

Didnt see a thread for LIU Brooklyn Campus for the Spring 2019 start. Feeling a little lost with everything. So I just wanted to see if there are other future LIU nursing students entering in the Spring as well! Just made my schedule today, hasn't hit me yet that I will be starting the nursing program but super excited !!! Lol

Hi!! I was originally admitted for Fall 2018 but I deferred for Spring 2019! I set up my schedule with an advisor a while ago but she never updated my information on my LIU Portal? I haven't had the best luck with administration which makes me super nervous to start the program there. Are you from Brooklyn?

Hello, I'm not an LIU student yet; however, I'm interested in transferring. Do you guys know if I have to finish all the pre-reqs before starting clinicals?

Can someone please PM me about the admission process to LIU, I'm currently a nursing student at City Tech which is closeby. Sadly, I'm looking into transferring to LIU nursing program. City Tech idk if you guys know has a bad rep, people fail like dead flies and the program is really aimed for you to fail. So if any brothers or sisters in here please message me about like what classes I need to complete to start clinicals asap or any insight into the program such as Kaplan, Hesi, ATI so I know what to prepare for since I already have experience with nursing school! Thanks in advance.

I heard you can go to a LIU transfer day and come along with your documents to get an on the spot decision for the program. Of course this will be based on your pre reqs. I am currently taking my last pre req course (CHEMISTRY). I will probably be going to a transfer day sometime this month or next month. I'll let you know how it goes!

I am almost done with all my pre req ,
Do they give you a decision for nursing program on the spot ? I wanted to go for that aswell.

I took gen chem 1 and I have a B on it . I’m hoping that’s the chemistry they need
