Hey! I'm waiting for a response for LIU's nursing program. They seem to be unorganized lol. Just wondering.. if you don't mind, what was your TEAS score and gpa? Do you know if they take the best scores from two tests or just look at one test as a whole? I'm pretty nervous! Also to answer one of your questions, they have a lot of review material for the HESI's online. Books and websites etc. I think the sooner you familiarize yourself the more prepared you would be. Congrats on getting in!
Overall GPA: 3.8
Science GPA: 3.5
They look at both GPAs (minimum: 3.0?)
Teas Scores:
Reading: 91.7%
Math: 96.4%
Science: 91.9%
English: 90%
They look at each grade separately. If one is below their requirement, they will not accept you. As long as you get atleast a 70% for each section, you are good to go (:
Thanks for the information! I will be scrambling around for good books haha. Hopefully you are accepted, and maybe we can even be classmates! :)

Oh, and I forgot to add. They look at one test as a whole only.

Hi Guys! I am not sure if a thread was already made for this school yet. I am a new nursing student starting in the Spring of 2016. It would be appreciated if any recent graduates can share their experience, and tips on how to succeed. How does one study for the HESI exit exams at the end of each semester? Are they customized? Are there any books or study guides you would recommend for preparation? Any contributions would be great :) Thanks!
