  1. Hey all! I'm currently a Registered Nurse in the states and by the time I move to Toronto, I will have 1 year of cardiac/step down experience. I understand the immigration process and how to get my nursing license transferred over..however, I have a few questions. 1. How long does it usually take to find a job in a hospital? 2. How much is the hourly pay/ yearly salary for nurses in a hospital? 3. What are the chances of being hired for a job outside of my experience? Do I need to take a course to specialize in an area? Any information/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
  2. Hey all! I'm a nursing student and need help with understanding when I could delegate vital signs. Any help is appreciated!
  3. I got it in both forms but it was mail first. I followed up with them constantly to make sure they had everything they needed. I got my acceptance over a month after I submitted everything! What school was your top choice?
  4. Hey I actually got accepted now I have to register for classes hopefully it all works out just finishing up my last pre req! Did you register yet? how was the process if so lol :)
  5. Hey! I'm waiting for a response for LIU's nursing program. They seem to be unorganized lol. Just wondering.. if you don't mind, what was your TEAS score and gpa? Do you know if they take the best scores from two tests or just look at one test as a whole? I'm pretty nervous! Also to answer one of your questions, they have a lot of review material for the HESI's online. Books and websites etc. I think the sooner you familiarize yourself the more prepared you would be. Congrats on getting in!
