Has anyone seen this in person? Online it looks more navy than purple. I am wondering if it is more purple in person. Thanks

I have it. It's more purple in person. There's actually 3 of us at work who have it.
so it looks truly purple? not blue? I am afraid I am going to order it and it will look navy blue and then I will be disappointed.

It basically looks like a grape purple. It is definitely purple, not blue. HTH! :)

hi, ive always wanted a purple stethoscope but after reading the following i wasnt sure anymore-
'Special Colour: very important note about this special colour product. A lilac version of this product does not normally exist in the UK. Medisave has built this product from 3M Littmann spare parts. The product is brand new - although because the product is made from parts the product does not come with instructions, extra ear tips and is not displayed in a box. However it is a very unique colour though and it will be hard to get the stethoscope mixed up with other standard classic 2SEs out there!!!'
as it is made from spare parts does it not work as well??
someone who has one please can you reply
thanks
Purple and Lilac are two different colors on Littmann's color chart.
as i am in the uk there are limited colours available. the only place i can buy it from is medisave. it says purple and there is a picture of a purple one however the note underneath is for lilac. http://www.medisave.co.uk/3m-littmann-classic-ii-se-stethoscopes-purple-special-edt-p-6647.html
