Looking for a list of walk thru states. I'm a traveler and need a job by 8/18. My companies are not finding anything for me, signed up w several. Want to go to Florida. Am licensed there, but may need to stay in southeast area. Don't want to take the PDBS? PBDS test..

Cross Country Trav Corps has a list on their website... a list of walk-through states, as well as a list of estimated wait times to get temp and permanent licensure in each state. I wish I could remember exactly where on the website. And now that I'm thinking about it, I'm only about 90% sure it's Cross Country. I hope I'm helping. (Too many google searches... I'm a little disoriented today!)

PBDS is a test used by hospitals to assess the critical thinking and skills of travelers. I personally took the test and it is geared towards doctors (for example--what tests would you ORDER for the patient) and required detailed explanations (saying 'drawing labs' is unacceptable, you must say the name of the test). I was not told about it until the day my assignment started and failed as well as some of my co-workers. If you decide to take an assignment be sure to ask potential interviewers, because some agencies will not reimburse you for time spent or mileage to take test. I hope this helps and good luck!
