I hope current students/recent grads can respond firsthand about your Linfield experience. THANK YOU for taking the time!

I'll be making my final decision at the end of this weekend between OHSU 3yr BSN and Linfield Summer 15mo ABSN. I'm SO excited to start this path of nursing!

After my BSN I want to do international relief work and pursue graduate school. If my interests don't shift during/after school, I'll need trauma exposure as well as ICU experience.

I'd love to know about any of the following:

1) The quality of the clinical rotations--how hands on, number of hours (not including SIM), what type of facility, which hospital/what dept are the placements, number of slots for each hospital department site, etc.

2) Retention/completion rate and job placement rate for the program--if students failed or left the program, how long to land yr first job, how long to get hospital work.

3) The strengths of the faculty--are they skilled teachers, the level of support and availability to students, etc.

Specializes in NICU.

I'm curious, what did you decide?

I chose Linfield's accelerated program. It was the right choice for me. Two weeks into the program and I'm really enjoying it.
