Lincoln Tech paramus campus for JUNE 09

I go to a Lincoln Tech but not the one you go to...how do you like the program so far? what mod are you starting in June? I'm about to finish Mod 1...Hate the school, to be honest, but as long as I can sit for the NCLEX-PN I'll suck it up and deal with it!

I finished Mode 1 but unfortunately due to my health situation causing absent days from clinical I failed clinical :crying2:1 so I have to repeat clinical 1 just the clinical though because I passed NF1,A&P, and professional awareness with all A's:yeah:.I don't actually start in june because that is their first quarter,I will merge with that same class in August when they actually start clinical 1 and then when the second mod starts in september of classes then I will join that class.As for the school what a mess:bugeyes:,the selection of people that they let into the program if I saw some of them coming to be my nurse I would run:igtsyt:.They teachers all have BSN but behave as if they have 5th grade education:confused:.The nursing directors don't know bull from foot they always end up quitting because they can't handle the load of students that the staff keeps bringing in just for the $$$$$$:argue:.But what can I say nursing programs are so competitive that your are lucky to actually get into one so I jumped at the chance. So liked you said you just have to suck it up and get what you went there for.For my first mod the teachers weren't that bad except my NF1 teacher what a dumb a**:lol_hitti she never taught before but by the end she actually got the hang of it and was much better:up:.I did alot of self study and extra reading all the time so i kept everything fresh in my mind so no problems with tests,but a few classmates seemed to think that they can just breeze through a chapter and get it and still be surprised when they failed:eek:.But hey as long as I can take my NCLEX I am happy. You have to take the knowledge no one is going to hand it to you on a platter especially there.I have also heard this about so many other nursing programs so it's not just them all these schools get away with murder but I am currently aware of many people that graduated took their boards and are now working as LPN's so that's all that matters:stdnrsrck:

Hi all my lovely nurses to be:nurse:.I was just looking for friends that might be in my program.I will be attending LIncoln Tech paramus campus for the June 2009 full time day class and just seeing if anyone else is here.I am not new to lincoln tech I finished my first quarter last October 2008:yeah: and I had to withdraw for health reasons :oand my demanding job:pumpiron:.I was enrolled to start the evening program in July but just found out that I am being laid off:crying2:sounds sad but perfect oppurtunity to collect unemployment and finish school full time.Any one out there????

hi, I am thinking get applying in LT, Paramus. I finished all my pre-nursing classes like A&P, Eng, Chemistry.... But I heard these classes are not transferable. Does that mean that I need to take all these classes over again??? I spend my 2 years in college completing these class and I just dont want to take it over again.
