Hi, I am new to allnurses.com I have found this website very useful in finding information about what to expect in the nursing program. I used to attend a Community College and I found that it would take forever to actually get in their nursing program due to the excessive amount of applicants. I stumbled upon Lincoln Tech and I have heard a lot of negative reviews about it but my goal is to do the LPN- RN bridge program. I have heard from someone that they did their research and made sure that when they graduate their license from Lincoln tech will be accepted. When I graduate from this program I will be immediately applying to the bridge programs and applying for jobs. I hope to continue my education to become an RN and while I am working on getting my RN I will work as an LPN on weekends to gain experience and obviously I will be making better money than I would working in retail for a full week. I have to work because my parents are broke. My questions is has anyone been able to find a job after graduation and passing the nclex? and has anyone been able to do lpn-rn bridge programs ?

Hi Melissa! I'm attending Lincoln Tech starting April and I also plan to do the Lpn to Rn bridge right after! I called a few Philadelphia nursing schools as well as Burlington County College and they all said as long as you have a license that is all they care about. Did you sign up already? I will be going to the Moorestown campus. Good luck with everything : )
