two people were sentenced to life in prison for selling methamphetamine and marijuana on and near the wind river reservation in wyoming.

claudia hermosillo, 26, and santiago gonzalez-cisneros, 26, were the ringleaders of an organization that brought large quantities of meth and marijuana from mexico to the reservation. these sentences send a strong message that drug trafficking on native american lands, or anywhere else in this state, will not go undetected," wyoming u.s. attorney matt mead said.

hermosillo pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute methamphetamine. gonzalez-cisneros pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute methamphetamine and to one count of conspiracy to launder money..
