Licensure via endorsement (reciprocity). A couple minor qs

Hello Beautiful Massachusetts!

I submitted my application for licensure by endorsement last week and yesterday saw that they charged my card.

Does anyone have an idea (preferably from personal experience) as to how long it will take before I get a license number on the nursys site? I'm trying not to be obsessive, and I know these things take time. I'm hoping a timeframe from people who've walked the walk will help me be patient. :saint:

Additionally, how long is an MA license valid for? From the BoN website, it looks like I'll have to renew on my bday on even-numbered years. So... next year? For my March bday? I should have waited until I was 3 months out! I just wanted to make sure I had that right, and there wasn't some additional rule for new grads.

RNs renew on their birthdays in even numbered years. LPNs renew on their birthdays in odd numbered years. So yes, you will need to renew in March of next year if you are getting an RN license.
