first of all, i want to thank whoever started this site, it really helped me a lot.. from being totally clueless, at least reading some of the forums shed some light to some of my questions:rolleyes:
So, about NCLEX-NM.. i plan to apply there,so after you pass, you can get hold of a license withuot having a SSN,thats clear..but i dont intend to stay there, i want to work in CA, and i read that you can only get endorsement from states if you only have a hard license? how can i get that? is it easy to transfer from NM to CA? and for how long? thanks for all reply!:)
theres an error.. let me rephrase..
so, about Nclex-NM.. it seems there are more advantages to apply there.. 1st. processing of application is faster 2nd. after you pass, you can get hold of full unrestricted license even without SNN, thats clear.
but i read all renewal of license need SNN, how can i get that, especially if im still in the phil? since i dont plan to stay in NM, and really opt for CA.. how can i apply for endorsement there? is it easy? and for how long? thanks for all reply!:)

Moved your thread to the International Forum as it has to do with licensure and there is no way to even apply for the NCLEX exam. One must apply to a state BON and be given permission to sit for the exam.
Title also edited to reflect this.

You will be applying for licensure but be aware that NM requires the CES before they will even look at your application for licensure so it is not going to be as quick as you may think.
There is absolutely no reason to even consider endorsing a license at this time, or when you do get the license in NM as CA will not issue a license to you without the SSN#. And the temporary license is only valid for 180 days and then it is gone.
Please take the time to do some reading on this forum, and in particular the Primer at the top of this page. Since much has already been written on this very topic, no sense in placing the information here again, but rather you just need to take the time to do some reading here and then let us know if you have any questions. But please, do the reading first.
You are still looking at about five years for a chance at a green card, it is not going to be something done fast or quick and not even guaranteed at this point in time that you will be able to get one. Many more applicants from your country than there are visas available per year.
