I'm a RN trained outside US. Please I'll like to hear from foreign trained Registered Nurses who took NCLEX and got licensed in Illinois how long d process takes. At least how long does it take for Illinois board to grant u Eligibility To Test? I want to apply this week but so undecided whether to use another State board or to use Illinois board. I'll appreciate ur quick response please. Thanks

Hi chizzy once you are done with ur cgfns ces reports it will take one to two months to get ATT from board after u sent an application with finger print reports to board of nursing .
1. Cgfns report to BON
2.written application to BON
3. Finger print report to BON via live scan vendor or biometric . Finger print validity 60 days
This is from my experience look for detail info from illinois board nursing application pdf form . All the best for ur exam .
Thank u for this info. Pls how long did it take u with cgfns? Just being curious cos from d net I read d entire process to get ATT is not less than a year and that is a long wait for me. Anticipating your response.
For me it took like 9 months due to small mistake our lecturer mad while filling the cgfns forms, normal time period max 4to5 months this was from my frds experience . Mistakes will delay the cgfns ces process.if No mistake while filling the form u will get it done within the time frame .
Okay, thanks alot

hello Chizzy,
Assuming all school documents, CGFNS forms and license verification have been received at CGFNS headquarters then it will take 3 to 8 weeks to process your CES report without the Expedited service
Thank u so much
