Hello,
I will be starting an accelerated program this coming fall in Michigan. However, I am originally from California and am planning to return to California because my husband still needs to be there for his job.
I was wondering which of the following will lead to less time waiting and less paperwork/problems:
1) After graduating from Michigan, take the Michigan NCLEX license then return to California and apply for a permit by endorsement there.
2) After graduating from Michigan, return to California and take the NCLEX there.
The reason why I am asking is that I have read of the California board of nursing being slow. I am just wondering if they take faster in giving me a permit by endorsement or it really doesn't matter either way.
Has anyone been in this situation? any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Cool!
By the way Pvt., since you've been to MSU...how is commuting to the campus? is there alot of traffic and is parking very bad? I am still thinking about whether I shoud live on-campus or off-campus. What were your friends saying about MSU nursing school? did they like it?
I have so much to do between now and then: 2 courses over the summer, a wedding to attend and moving to Michigan. I guess busy is good, it makes it go faster.
Are you still in Michigan and an RN now?
