Fellow WV nurses, I have finally gotten onto the Ohio site and my license is on the way. I cannot wait. While I love WV, it has become increasingly
difficult to get benefits I can afford along with a living wage. I will not be going too far, but I know I will be going. Good luck to all of the nurses here.

Congratulations Barefoot! I'm an Ohio nurse who moved on to WV (don't ask me why, I can't figure it out myself). Good luck to you! :rotfl:
Hey Puglet;
You either had a opportunity too good to pass up or you do not have to provide benefits for yourself and family. Pay here is actually better than in some of the stateline border hospitals but the benefits are a lot more expensive. I need a decent wage but benefits are more important right now.
Where do you work? Thanks for the good wishes.

You're on your way ! So thrilled for you !
I just had to renew my own license the other day.. :stone .. but at least VA. is one of the Compact States now, so I can move around some without all the broohaha if I need to. :)
