License uner review?

I renewed my license over a month ago and the OBN accepted my payment. But my expiration date still says my license expires on Oct 2016. I called and emailed OBN and they told me when my license review is completed, they will contact me. Why does one's license even come under review?

Maybe it means nothing. You and everyone else in your state are all renewing at this time, so I am sure a backlog is created. Perhaps something you answered requires someone to review your responses more in depth? I wouldn't worry at this point as long as you do not believe anyone filed a complaint against you, and you had nothing sketchy on your renewal application.
