Hi share! I am also a foreign grad, but an US citizen. I just recently took the NCLEX-RN and passed. I'm also looking for nursing employment in the Boston area. Where are you hoping to work? Are some hospitals still hiring new graduates???
Hi there!
Well, actually I'm not aware of the medical facilities here in the Boston area. I just moved here myself. But I know there are a lot of great hospitals here in Boston. Such as Mass general hospital, Beth Isreal....etc. And I'm afraid I can't give you much information on new grad positions either, because I'm still working on my NCLEX, didn't get the ATT from CA BON yet... so...
But what you can do is you can go to the website of the hospitals that you're interested in, and look for new grad positions at the employment opportunities section, I'm sure you'll find all the information you need there.^^
So did you endorse your license too? Or did you applied for MA BON and took the CGFNS as well?
By the way, nice knowing you:) And congradulations on passing the NCLEX!
You are still going to need to pass the TSE for Massachusetts licensure, even if you are a US citizen. As long as you are a foreign grad, it is a requirement.
One of the students that I helped in BKK is married to someone that works for the US Embassy, and she is even a US citizen with passport, but still was required to take the TSE to get the license.
You do not need TOEFL, but only the TSE. And they do not accept the IELTS series.

Hi! I'm an applicant for CA BON. However, I'm staying at Boston right now and got really attached to the surroundings here. Just wondering, is it possible to endorse a CA RN license to MA RN license? Or where can I get this information? (By the way, I'm a foreign grad, U.S citizen, didn't take CGFNS nor TOFLE).
Thanks^^
