Does anyone know how long it takes to get your WI license by endorsement? I am a US citizen, and did all my schooling in the States. I am moving from Texas up to Wisconsin. I have a compact license. The hospital I will be working at will only allow me to work under my compact license for 30 days. I don't start until Sept. 8th, and I mailed my application for endorsement 2 weeks ago. I am hoping I will have my WI RN license in enough time.

You can use this website to search for your license (which may already have been generated) https://app.wi.gov/licensesearch
You can also check your application status online to see where you're at in the process. http://online.drl.wi.gov/ApplicationStatus/CredentialApplicationStatus.aspx
It seems strange that the hospital is setting the limits on your compact license. I was under the impression that you only had to change it when you changed your primary residency.
I am changing my current residence. Currently I live in Texas. Wisconsin allows you to work under another compact license for 90 days, but the hospital I will be working at only allows for 30 days. I just heard that the WI board of nursing can be kinda slow.
