I thought I'd try and get a post going on how awesome our significant others are. In a career like nursing it's almost a prerequisite to have a partner who is suportive, or at least willing to let you blow off steam at the end of the day.
So...does anyone want to share the romantic, funny, sweet, and supportive ways our spouses help us get by?
My husband rocks! We have to live apart while I finish up school but he's always there for me emotionally and financially. He's a park medic with the National Park Service and he practices IV's on me all the time. I've told him that he can practice on me as much as he wants because the time is going to come when I'll need to practice IV's, foleys, and rectal temps (ha, ha).
I couldn't do it without him.He's a keeper. We've been married 18 blissful months.

when dh and i were dating, he used to get reeeeaallly nervous whenever i held his hand, because he never knew if i was being romantic or checking out his dorsal veins!!

My dh is also very supportive, from being there for me to vent, to help me study, to support me financially, emotionally, physically, etc while finishing my RN. I always tell him how much he means to me and I couldn't have done this without him. Ever since we have known each other I have been in school, now is the time for the honeymoon to start! LOL.
