We Have to begin to promote MINIMUM STAFFING STANDARDS, and we have to do it now! Who is willing to make their voice heard, along with mine?

Soooooooo... anybody have a heads-up on Va. and N.C. ? Anything in the works there regarding safe staffing legislation? I'm new at this, but I'm WILLING to add my voice, do my share.

BFL, you need to speak with your facility about this problem.

Acuity studies are something that the staff at various facilities can -and should - promote individually. If the nurses involved would sit down with the powers-that-be and push for routine acuity studies, then this problem could be solved, facility by facility. What a simple solution - and what a giant step forward for nursing! Go for it! And good luck! P
