Hi everyone,
I recently applied for admission to Lehman as a second degree student. I plan on taking all of the pre-requisites for the nursing program and will most likely be aiming for admission into the accelerated program. I'm wondering if anyone can discuss their experiences taking the pre-reqs at Lehman. Also, which classes are offered in the summer? I would like to start taking pre-reqs Spring 2015 but I'm not sure which classes I would be able to take; For example is Chem 115 available in the summer? (I would ideally take Chem 114 Spring '15 if it were.) Or if anyone has advice for a sequence that would allow me to start pre-reqs spring '15 and continue through the summer it would be a great help.
Thanks!

I would advise going to cuny.edu and reviewing schedule of classes. It gives you an idea what classes are available for each semester. Just do a search under your CUNY college of interest (in this case Lehman). I will more than likely be taken the organ chem pre req at lehman either Fall 2015 or in 2016 since I want to eventually apply to the accelerated program there as well.

Hey guys I just got admitted to Lehman, wow the admissions process was shrouded in mystery for me.. Even though I'm admitted for Spring 2015 im having to start pre requisites for nursing in summer, I have to visit chemistry and biology advisors to see if any of the classes are offered in summer. I know two of the nursing ones are... I'm a second degree transfer student. I will let you know if any biology or chemistry classes are available in summer as soon as I've spoken to advisors shortly..
Same; I was really lucky to get into my classes, especially chem. Everything at Lehman is truly a hassle and you need to always do things extra early and ask questions because no one will go out of their way to tell you important things unfortunately.
I've started my pre-reqs this Spring. I'm taking a chemistry course and a nursing course that can transfer back to Lehman. I was trying to take both bio and nursing at Lehman but they were all full! However I spoke to someone in the department and they said they were having an Anatomy/Physiology I course during the summer. I'm not sure of any other courses though.
